Over 300 Cub Scouts and Families Scheduled to Attend Cub Scout Camping Weekend.
Arkansas May 23 2004--This is the first of three Cub weekends planned for 2004 at Blass Scout Reservation and the only spring weekend. Participants will make crafts, play games, learn to tie knots, attend a camp fire, a cracker-barrel and much more. Scouts will also be given the opportunity to shoot BB guns and archery under the supervision of certified range officers and will be instructed on the safe handling of guns and archery equipment.
Participants are allowed to bring their own tents or they can choose to use the tents provided by the camp. Campers will eat a hot dinner Saturday night and a hot breakfast Sunday morning.
This fun filled camping weekend will be the first overnight camping experience for many young Cub Scouts. The activities and adventure promise to make it a memorable experience.
